Do I need to clean my car before the inspection?

Washing your car before pickup is strongly recommended, though not strictly required. A clean exterior makes existing scratches, dings, and marks easy to see, so the pickup inspection on the Bill of Lading is accurate. That accurate baseline protects you when you compare the car at delivery. Clearing dirt and dust also makes your before photos far more useful.
