Before loading, you and the driver walk around the vehicle together and document its condition on the Bill of Lading, noting any existing scratches, dents, or other marks. A clean car makes this easier and more accurate. Taking your own dated photos from multiple angles is a good idea too. This shared record is what you will compare against at delivery.
